Artificial Objects LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who access or use our website (the "Site") or purchase products from us. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which it is used, how it may be disclosed, your rights as a data subject, and the specific disclosures required under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), and all other applicable U.S. and international privacy laws. By using our Site, you expressly consent to the data practices described herein. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the Site immediately.

- Location data: general geographic location derived from IP address (not precise geolocation without explicit consent).

We do NOT collect biometric data, health data, Social Security numbers, or driver's license numbers.

Rights Available to California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months, the sources of collection, the business purposes, and the third parties with whom it has been shared.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to certain legal exceptions (e.g., information required to complete a transaction, detect fraud, or comply with legal obligations).
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Request that we limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to provide our services.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny goods, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised any CCPA/CPRA right.
Rights Available to All Users
- Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Portability: Receive your personal information in a portable, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
- Right to Object / Restrict: Object to or request restriction of our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of the above rights, submit a verifiable consumer request to legal@artificialobjects.com with sufficient identifying information for us to verify your identity. We will acknowledge receipt within ten (10) business days and respond substantively within forty-five (45) calendar days (extendable by an additional forty-five (45) days with prior notice). Requests may be submitted by an authorized agent with written proof of authorization.
1.6 Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable law. Specific retention periods:
- Order and transaction records: minimum seven (7) years, to satisfy U.S. tax and financial regulations.
- Account information: duration of account existence plus two (2) years following account closure.
- Marketing consent records: maintained until opt-out, plus three (3) years thereafter.
- CCPA consumer request records: minimum two (2) years, as required by CCPA regulations.
- Cookie and analytics data: per the retention settings of the applicable third-party provider, typically not exceeding twenty-six (26) months.
Upon expiration of applicable retention periods, personal information will be securely deleted or anonymized.
1.7 International Data Transfers
As we offer international shipping and use global service providers, personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. For transfers from jurisdictions with data protection laws (e.g., the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Canada), we rely on appropriate legal safeguards, including standard contractual clauses approved by relevant data protection authorities, or other lawful transfer mechanisms. By purchasing from us internationally, you acknowledge and consent to such transfers.
1.8 Security

1.9 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We will review this Privacy Policy at least annually and reserve the right to modify it at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on our Site homepage or by email to registered account holders at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of the change, where practicable. Continued use of the Site following the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
